Folding Origami Habitat Design

The Mars Society of Canada and AAKA Space Studio is exploring the use of artificial intelligence and origami architecture in the design of habitats for use on Mars and elsewhere

Analog Station Research (Desert)

The Mars Society operates a Mars analog research station in the desert of Utah. Mars Society of Canada volunteers will be attending an upcoming deployments.

Analog Station Research (Arctic)

The Mars Society maintains an analog research station on Devon Island in the Canadian Arctic. The Mars Society of Canada plans to participate in future deployments.

Future Initiatives

Having secured not-for-profit status in late 2019, The Mars Society of Canada is just getting started! As we refine our strategy and grow our membership base we plan to participate in, provide grants for and directly conduct research for the sake of augmenting Mars exploration and eventual inhabitation. Some key focus areas will include:
