Back on Mars! The FMARS-15 crew is onsite at Devon Island and will conduct a live broadcast for members of The Mars Society of Canada. They arrived several days ago at the Flashline Mars Arctic Research Station (FMARS) and will be refurbishing this station as it has not been used since the summer of 2017. After that, they will go into ‘simulation’ and perform Mars-related research in one of the harshest environments on Earth. However, before they begin simulating what it would be like to be on Mars, they will be taking the time to speak with us!
The broadcast will begin with a short presentation from the crew about the FMARS station, and will be followed by a Q & A session where everyone may participate.
Join us from 12 – 1 PM (EDT) on July 22nd, 2023.
If you are a member of The Mars Society of Canada, please RSVP by sending an email to [email protected].
