Haydn Hanna

Haydn Hanna Haydn is a trained primary school teacher with additional experience in other areas of education, including college level distance studies facilitation, elearning development and teaching English as a foreign language.¬†After graduating from Queen’s University with a degree in Religious Studies, Haydn began a career in social work. This career path was short lived, as he eventually moved to the U.K. to live for several years. After working for one year as a teacher’s¬†assistant in a primary school in the U.K., Haydn trained to become a primary school teacher, and taught in a U.K. primary school for two years before returning to his home province of Ontario to¬†continue his career in education as an elearning developer and Outschool teacher.¬†¬†Haydn’s role with The Mars Society of Canada is in keeping with his professional¬†life as an educator. He is currently developing the¬†Mars¬†Explorer Program,¬†an open-sourced,¬†Mars themed curriculum for primary children (and perhaps someday secondary aged children!).Most importantly, Haydn is a Montreal Canadiens fan, and a big believer that hockey, along with Kraft Dinner and¬†dill pickle chips, should be exported to Mars.¬†
